A profile on Zac Ship, our Area Sales Manager for the Tunbridge Wells region

Another in the series of intros about our key members of staff, this piece is all about Zac Ship, our Area Sales Manager for the Tunbridge Wells region.

Born at Pembury hospital, Zac is a real local, who grew up in Edenbridge and went to Hever Primary School, then The Skinner School. He loves sport and when a little older he coached for Arsenal, before going on to be a Leisure Centre Manager. He eventually got itchy feet and spent six months travelling in Thailand and New Zealand which helped him focus on what he wanted to do with his life. On his return he joined a high street Estate Agent and spent time working with Mathew Gurr who would go on to found our Move Revolution Haywards Heath region. Zac has always been ambitious and wanted to become a Branch Manager from early on. When Mathew joined Move Revolution he knew Zac would be a great fit and we were absolutely delighted to welcome him on board. After a stint within the Redhill and Reigate region Zac went on to found the Tunbridge Wells region where is now doing fantastic job bringing the Move Revolution excellent customer service and knowledge to the area as we knew he would!

He is recently married and the photos were taken by one of our in house photographers (look at the little sneak peek below!) so they’re absolutely stunning! The wedding was at The Plough Barn in Leigh which was his top tip in one of our recent blogs as a pub to go to for the outside space along with the delicious food.

Zac has a young daughter and they love to go on family days out on the Spa Valley railway, and out for lunch. One of their favourite family lunch places is The King Henry VIII pub in Hever, after a morning exploring the castle.

He enjoys going to the cinema which he tends to do once every month or so and he considers himself a bit of a movie buff. He loves going out with his wife and friends up in London a couple of times a year, going to the theatre and to rooftop bars.

Zac’s favourite architectural style is very much modern and he loves light, airy spaces. This beautiful home is his all time favourite. Photos taken by our in house photography team and we’re very proud of these!

A motivated Estate Agent, Zac is great at what he does, and if you live in the Tunbridge Wells region and looking to buy or sell a property, he and his colleague Ben are the people to talk to. You can reach them on 01892 300600.

Some of our favourite beaches

Oh we do love to be beside the seaside….! And not just our Brighton team either, it seems most of us are massive British beach fans, and have quite a selection of favourites to share. This is the latest in our blogs to share with you over the summer season:

Sarah Cohen, Sales Progression

We love going to Shoreham where my parents have a beach hut. We love nothing more but to go and eat our fish & chips at the hut and play on the beach. Many a happy day has been spent there!

Louise Simpson, Area Sales Manager, Redhill & Reigate

West Wittering for me! My favourite as it’s perfect for a barbecue while spending a full day at the beach watching the sailing boats come and go.

Oisin Flynn, Photographer

I like a little stroll around Whitstable from time to time. It’s a lovely little town near Canterbury. The beaches are clean and calm and there’s a great lobster shack right on the beach that’s worth a visit if you’re down there for lunch or dinner. Whitstable also has wine, cider and beers produced there which are all very good. Always feels good to drink local when you’re visiting!

Alex Goodman, Area Sales Manager, Brighton

Obviously Brighton, how could I say anywhere else?! There is nowhere better on a sunny day then Brighton beach. With so many places to get good food and drinks and so many forms of family entertainment like the amusements on the pier and crazy golf it is the perfect place to spend the day enjoying the sun.

Mathew Gurr, Haywards Heath

It has to be in front of Hove Lawns. I spent a few happy years living in Hove so this always reminds me of my mid 20’s! Stroll into Brighton, a great spot for a run or head east towards Hove Lagoon.

Ben Hosmer, Tunbridge Wells

My favourite beach is Camber Sands and Rye Harbour both within a couple of miles of each other. Camber has sandy beaches and Rye has quirky shops, bars, restaurants, pubs and cobbled streets.

Mark Waldron, Area Sales Manager, Sevenoaks region

Goring is a great place to head to when the sun is out!

Sam Webb, Land and New Homes

A day out to the beach for me is always a toss up between Camber Sands and West Wittering. Both are a family favourite offering unspoilt sandy beach. At Camber Sands when the tide goes out the beach goes on for miles and great fun running up and down the dunes……you can be sure to have some very tired little ones!

Sarah Sproston, Marketing Manager

Another vote for West Wittering here! The children absolutely love it, the dunes and clean sandy beach are just perfect for a family day. We also love to drive upriver to Itchenor, (or cycle along the Salterns Way if feeling energetic!) and watch the sailing boats, sometimes popping in for a pint or half at The Ship Inn.

Where do you go to dip your toes in the sea? We’d love to know, so comment below!

If you’re thinking of selling or letting your home, you can reach the team on 0330 223 1000.
